..."One of the things I remember as a kid was my first camera. It was a point and shoot film camera that used a film format that is next to extinct today. Yep, 110 format. I think my mother was so annoyed with me at times when she was shelling out the cash for my film processing only to receive prints with people's heads and feet cut off. Still, it was a starting point for me and I am sure that every photographer passed through this stage at the beginning of their desire to take good pictures.
As for me, while the other kids were kicking the football around in the park, I was still taking pictures of just about everything that came into the view finder. Those old pictures are now in a shoe box somewhere in my mothers attic, fading to yellow with the passing of time.
That was then, and this is now. The digital age of photography has given us so much control over how we can produce our images. Starting from when we capture an image in the camera, right up to the processing of the final image. We as photographers now have a say in the complete process.
On this web site, you will find some of my finer creations. Images in the Art/Landscape album are all photography based creations that have more than one element composed in the final image, or have been processed in a manner to reflect an expression or an idea that I had in mind at the beginning of the process. Feel free to browse these images and I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I had enjoyed creating them for you.
